Florida AC Quit on You? We'll Have It Running Today.
Same-day AC repair across Gainesville and 11 surrounding cities. Capacitors, compressors, refrigerant leaks, frozen coils, electrical faults - we diagnose and fix on the first visit, with parts on the truck for most common failures. No overtime, no surprise charges.
We treat your AC like ours. We don't make you wait.
When the AC is out in Florida, every hour is misery for kids, pets, and anyone who works from home. We dispatch from Gainesville and try to be on every emergency call within 2-4 hours. Even non-emergency repairs we typically handle the day you call - and the brothers personally rotate through after-hours calls so the line is always answered by someone who can dispatch a truck.
Most repairs handled same-day
Common parts (capacitors, contactors, motors) on every truck
Real Schwartz brothers answer the phone day or night
Eagle Care Plan members get scheduled first on busy days
Our techs are paid hourly, not on commission, so they have zero incentive to invent repairs you don't need. We give you a flat written quote before any work begins. If we recommend a major repair, we explain WHY - and we'll always tell you if your system is at the point where replacement makes more financial sense than another repair.
Free over-the-phone diagnosis when possible
Flat-rate pricing on all repairs - quote before we start
Same rate at 8pm Saturday as 9am Tuesday
We will tell you straight if a repair is or isn't worth it
Most common repairs run $150-$650. Capacitors are the cheapest (~$200 with diagnostic), compressors are the most expensive (often $1,500-$2,500 - at which point we'd usually suggest considering a replacement). We give you a written flat-rate quote before any work, every time.
Should I repair or replace my AC?
Rule of thumb: if the repair quote is more than half the cost of a new system AND your unit is over 10 years old, replacement usually makes more sense. We'll always tell you straight - we'd rather lose a single repair sale than have you sink money into a dying system.
Can I run my AC if it's leaking water?
Don't. Shut it off and call us - leaking water is usually a clogged drain line that will continue dumping water onto your floor or ceiling until cleared. It's a quick fix but the longer you run it, the more damage to drywall and flooring.
What does an AC diagnostic cost?
$89 standard diagnostic - and we waive it entirely if you proceed with the repair. Eagle Care Plan members get free diagnostics, period.
