New AC installation by Eagle AC
Thinking about a new AC?

When is it time to replace your AC?

If your system is 10-15 years old, needs a repair every year, struggles to cool every room evenly, or your power bill keeps creeping up, replacement often makes more sense than another fix. When we quote a new system we look at the whole picture - square footage, insulation, ductwork, and efficiency rating (SEER) - so the new unit fits your home and your budget.

  • Rising power bills and repeat repairs are the two biggest signs it's time
  • We evaluate square footage, insulation, and ductwork on every quote
  • High-efficiency (SEER) options that lower your monthly cooling costs
  • One-day installs on most replacements, with financing available

What we install

We install American Standard - and service every other brand.

We work on and repair all major brands - Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Daikin and more. But when it's time for a new system, we only install equipment we fully stand behind: American Standard for ACs, heat pumps, and furnaces, and Mitsubishi or Gree for ductless mini splits. American Standard's lineup comes in three tiers - Silver, Gold, and Platinum, from least to most efficient - so there's a right fit for every home and budget.

  • Silver Series - dependable single-stage comfort and the friendliest price
  • Gold Series - quieter two-stage systems with stronger efficiency
  • Platinum Series - variable-speed, top efficiency, and the best humidity control
  • Mitsubishi & Gree for ductless mini-split systems
  • We size, install, register the warranty, and stand behind every install

Common new AC questions

How long does an AC installation take?

Most single-system replacements take one full day - we arrive between 7-8am and have you cooling by dinner. Heat pump conversions or ductwork modifications can stretch to 2 days. We always confirm scope and timeline in your written estimate.

How much does a new AC cost?

Replacement systems for typical Florida homes (1,500-2,500 sqft) usually run $6,500-$12,000 installed depending on tonnage, brand, efficiency rating, and any ductwork modifications. We can get prices down with our financing options - many homeowners pay $90-$130/month on a 10-year plan.

Is high-efficiency worth the extra cost?

For Florida specifically, yes - we're in AC territory most of the year. A SEER 16 vs SEER 14 unit usually pays back the price difference in 4-6 years through power bill savings. Above SEER 20, the math gets less clear unless you really push the AC.

Do I need new ductwork?

Often no - we inspect existing ducts during the quote and most are fine. If they're undersized, leaking, or in collapsing fiberglass shape, we'll quote duct repair separately so you can decide.

What's the warranty?

10-year parts warranty on every system we install (manufacturer-backed, we register it for you). On labor we offer a 2-year written guarantee, with the option to extend to 10 years through Eagle Care Plan Plus.

In-home assessment, written quote, no pressure - and we'll always tell you if a repair makes more sense than a replacement.
