Eagle AC was founded in 2023 on a simple frustration: the brothers were tired of seeing big-box HVAC outfits push unnecessary repairs, charge weekend overtime fees, and treat customers like ticket numbers. So they built the company they wished existed - the one their parents would have called.
CAC 1822449 · Fully insured through SUNZ
Andy & Alex Schwartz, brothers since day one
Most repairs handled the day you call
Honest pricing 24/7, even on weekends

Andy and Alex grew up in North Central Florida, where everybody knows that an AC going out in August isn't an inconvenience — it's a crisis. They watched their parents, like most Florida families, have to make tough calls when the repair bill landed at the wrong time. That stuck with them.
They went into the trades, both got HVAC certified, and both spent years working at large local companies - watching trucks roll out with techs paid on commission to upsell repairs nobody needed, watching weekend dispatch fees double a $400 fix into a $700 bill, watching customers get bounced between three different reps without ever getting a real answer.
In 2023, they put their savings together, got the Florida State Certified license CAC 1822449, and opened Eagle AC. The promise was simple: real Schwartz brothers answer the phone, no overtime fees ever, flat-rate pricing written down before the work starts, and the same level of care for a $200 capacitor as a $12,000 full system replacement.
Plenty of HVAC companies claim 'family-owned.' Few mean it the way we mean it.
No call center, no offshore queue. You call (352) 538-1533, you get Andy, Alex, or someone they personally trained. We pick up on weekends. We pick up at midnight when the AC dies in July.
You get the price in writing before any work begins. The price at your door is the price we quoted on the phone. No surprise add-ons, no 'while we were in there' charges.
Same hourly rate Monday at 9am, Saturday at 9pm, or Sunday at midnight. We built this company because we got fed up with overtime markup. We will never charge it.
Our techs are paid hourly, not on commission. They have zero incentive to invent repairs you don't need. We will tell you straight when a repair is not worth it - even if it costs us a sale.
WUFT (UF's local NPR/PBS station) sent a crew out to ride along with Andy and Alex during a cold snap. The story: how a small family-owned HVAC outfit keeps North Central Florida warm when the temperature actually drops.

“Their pricing was very competitive, and they didn't try to upsell or add anything extra that I wasn't interested in. Very accommodating with my limited scheduling window. Communication throughout the scheduling and installation was great.”
